Smart StepTM is an innovative biofeedback and
monitoring device designed to help clinicians effectively
guide patients with lower limb injuries due to orthopedic
or neurological disorders towards optimal functional
performance. It records and analyzes key parameters
during functional activities and provides instantaneous
and accurate audio and visual feedback.

series of SmartStep™ Clinical Interactive Training
Program. This new proprietary software consists of a ski
game, which engages patients in a total interactive
play. Limits are set by the physical therapists to enable
their patients to reach their targeted weight bearing
goals while swooshing and jumping through the Alps.
Not only will patients gain the confidence they need to
reach their optimal functional performance, but they will
also have fun doing it. The program will increase
patient motivation, performance and improve the

Andante announces that the SmartStep now comes
with 5 sizes of insoles instead of 3, including a
pediatric insole.

The various sizes available are: 4.5-5.5, 6-7, 7.5-8.5,
8.5-10, or 10.5-11.5.

OCTOBER 2008
Andante Medical LP, a Delaware Limited Partnership
purchased Andante Medical Devices Ltd of Omer, Israel,
which now focuses on Product Development and
Manufacturing. Andante Medical also formed Andante
Medical Devices, Inc. based in White Plains, NY to
focus on Clinical Education, Sales & Marketing and
Customer Service in the US and Canada. More than 30
independent sales representatives, as well as several
Physical Therapists, have since been recruited and
trained to support the roll out of the SmartStep™ in the
US and Canadian markets.

Devices, Inc. a 5-year Federal Supply Schedule Contract to supply the SmartStep™ to
over 150 VA Hospitals in the US and Puerto Rico. This is very exciting news for Andante
and we are poised to supply our Veterans with the SmartStep™, a unique tool that is
essential to reach optimal functional performance.
