Reynald Bonmati, President/Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer
Mr. Bonmati has served as President/CEO of Andante since October 1, 2008. He also serves
as Chairman/CEO of Andante Medical Devices, Inc. and as Chairman of Andante Medical
Devices Ltd. Mr. Bonmati is also serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of
Orthometrix, Inc., and as President of Bones L.L.C. a private investment firm. Mr. Bonmati
has thirty years of experience in the founding and management of companies in the Life
Sciences. He has participated in the development of a number of companies in the Life
Sciences, including DNAX Research Institute of Molecular & Cellular Biology (now part of
Schering Plough, Inc.), Chiron Corporation (NASDAQ: CHIR), Codon Corporation (now Berlex
Biosciences, Inc.), Columbia Laboratories, Inc. (AMEX: COB), and Norland (now part of
Cooper Surgical, the women’s healthcare unit of the Cooper Companies – NYSE:COO). Mr.
Bonmati holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Institut National
Superieur de Chimie Industrielle in France, an M.S. degree in Petrochemical Engineering from
Ecole Nationale Superieure du Petrole et des Moteurs in France, as well as an M.B.A. from
University of Paris. In 1977, he moved to the United States where he settled with his family.
He started his first company in 1980.
Arik Avni, Vice President/Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Avni has founded AIL on 1999. He is the CEO of Andante Medical Devices Ltd. and the
designer of the SmartStep™ concept and devices. As a biomedical engineer and
physiotherapist, Mr. Avni has a strong multidisciplinary background that includes experience
in project management and development of rehabilitation technologies. Mr. Avni has worked
with the FDA, CE and ISO regulatory bodies, and has managed Beta sites, clinical trials and
evaluations in the US. He developed SmartStep™, built Andante Medical Devices Ltd’s
corporate structure in Israel and is actively involved in the marketing of the SmartStep™. Mr.
Avni holds an MS degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor degree in Physical
Therapy, both from Ben-Gurion University.
Neil H. Koenig, C.P.A., Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, Secretary
Mr. Koenig has served as Chief Financial Officer of Andante since October 1, 2008. He also
serves as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of Andante Medical Devices, Inc. Mr. Koenig is
a managing partner of Imowitz Koenig & Co., LLP, a certified public accounting firm and is the
managing member of the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group, LLC, a consulting
company serving the real estate industry. Mr. Koenig received a B.S. degree from Farleigh
Dickinson University and a MBA degree from Fordham University.
Charlie Weingroff, MSPT, ATC, CSCA, Director of Clinical Education
Mr. Weingroff has served as Director of Clinical Education of Andante since October 1, 2008.
He has been Director of Sports Therapy at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ since
October 2006 and Director of Clinical Education at Orthometrix since June 2006. From
September 2003 to June 2006, he was Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Philadelphia
76ers NBA Professional Basketball Team. From 1998 until he joined the 76ers, Mr. Weingroff
was Interim Head Athletic Trainer for various NBA Professional Basketball Teams, including
the New Jersey Nets and the Boston Celtics, as well as Head Athletic Trainer for various NBDL,
IBL and USBL Professional Basketball Teams. He also served as Physical Therapists of the
Helene Fuld Medical Center (Trenton, NJ), Philadelphia Orthopedic Group, Fitness in Therapy
(Toms River, NJ), NovaCare (Central New Jersey), Medical Center of Ocean County (Pediatrics,
Bricktown, NJ), Kimball Medical Center (Lakewood, NJ) and the Medical Center at Princeton
(Princeton, NJ). Mr. Weingroff holds a BS degree (Exercise & Sports Science) form Ursinus
College and a MS degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of
New Jersey in Newark, where he is completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Chrystele B. Zawislack, Marketing Director
Mrs. Zawislack has served as Marketing Director of Andante since October 1, 2008. She is
also responsible for the design and the maintenance of the Company’s website. She served
as Marketing Manager of Orthometrix, Inc. from April 2002 to September 2008, and as
Applications Manager from May 2000 to March 2002. Mrs. Zawislack holds BE and ME degrees
in civil and environmental engineering from Villanova University.
Derrick Perez, Sales Manager, Professional Sports Teams and Southern Florida Region
Mr. Perez has served Andante since October 1, 2008 as Sales Manager, Professional Sports
Teams and Southern Florida Region. He joined Orthometrix, Inc. in 2004 as Florida Sales
Representative for Rehabilitation/Fitness. He then became National Sports Teams Sales
Manager in January 2006. Prior to joining Orthometrix, Mr. Perez served as the Miami/South
America Sales Associate for Your Health & Fitness Source, a distributor of fitness equipment.
He operated his own fitness consulting company from April 2001 to June 2004. From 1998 to
June 2004, Mr. Perez was the Fitness Director of the Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel in Miami
Beach. Mr. Perez received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physical Therapy from Long Island
University in Greenvale, NY, an MBA degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
He became an N.S.C.A Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 1995.
Juri Schüle, Customer Service Engineer
Mr. Schüle has served as Customer Service Engineer of Andante since October 2008. He
joined Orthometrix, Inc. in August 2003 as a Customer Service Engineer specialized in
peripheral Quantitative Computed Tomography (pQCT). Prior to joining Orthometrix, he
worked for Stratec Medizintechnik GmbH, a manufacturer of pQCT system, where he was
responsible for manufacturing and servicing x-ray systems. Mr. Schüle graduated from
Pforzheim, Germany in 1994 with an Electrical Engineering Degree. He then graduated from
the Research Center of Karlsruhe, Germany in 1998 as a Communication Electrician.
Ronit Friedman, Operating Manager, Omer Facility
Ms. Friedman has been Operating Manager of Andante’s Omer facility in Israel since 2007.
She has an extensive R&D experience from Andante where she managed the activity since
she joined in 2000. Ms. Friedman has been involved in all operational and regulatory
aspects: FDA, CE AND ISO of the SmartStep development process. She has previous
background employment at Medinol and Cimatron. Ms. Friedman holds a BSc degree in
mechanical engineering from the Technion Institute, Haifa, Israel and studied biomedical
engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Dror Salah, Manager, Research & Development
Mr. Salah has served as head of Research & Development of Andant, which he joined in
2002. He joined the technical support efforts of Andante since October 2008. Mr. Salah has
been involved in all the technical aspects of the SmartStep development process. Mr. Salah
holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Ayelet Faust Eshed, Head of Clinical Department, Omer Facility
Ms. Eshed has served as Head of the Clinical Department of Andante’s Omer facility in Israel
since 2006 and joined the clinical education effort of Andante on October 1, 2008. She has
previously served as a physiotherapist at several child development centers at Lowenstein
Hospital. Ms. Hshed holds a BPT in Physiotherapy from Tel-Aviv University and a B,Sc.Agr. in
Animal Science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
